icare Announce 2018 Claims Partners

At the end of April 2017, icare announced 2018 claims service partners for the NSW Workers Compensation scheme. As a shock to most in the industry, icare communicated that EML had been successful in being selected as the sole agent for new NSW cworkers compensation claims effective from 1 January 2018. This is a major change for NSW with the remaining 4 existing agents (i.e. Allianz, CGU, GIo & QBE) existing at various times.

Introducing Lyn Green

Lyn GreenMany of you would already have had to pleasure of dealing with Lyn our new Office Manager extraordinaire. Lyn joined us at the end of September and has quickly whipped everyone into shape. Lyn joined our ABILITY GROUP team after spending approaching 5 years with Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) where in her most recent role supporting the team of brokers. Lyn possesses extensive experience gained from roles spaning health, insurance, business administration and management. Lyn will manages all the day to day facets of our busy office and works Monday to Thursday in supporting our clients, brokers and partners. As an active mother of 4 amazing adult children, Lyn loves dancing, socialising and hitting the road for the next holiday destination.

Farewell Adam

Adam Profile - Colour (Square)Adam joined our ABILITY GROUP team 12 months ago after 18 years with Employers Mutual. During the last year Adam was actively involved in managing client, broker and insurer relationships as well as workers compensation related matters. Although we are disappointed to loose Adam, he leaves with our best wishes and we will remain in contact within the industry. Our recruitment process has been in full swing and we continue to interview a variety of quality applicants as we search of the right addition to our team. With the latest significant NSW icare workers compensation changes taking effect in 2017, we want to ensure we have the right skills, behaviours and experience to help our clients/brokers successfully navigate the rapidly changing workers compensation.
