During unprecedented times, SIRA is pleased to announce new vocational programs intended to support injured workers, road users and employers during COVID-19 crisis.
SIRA have created new programs called JobCover6 and Connect2work programs to assist workers in new roles during the COVID-19 crisis. This may be a way to assist any of your workers who are currently unable to be employed and have a workers compensation claim with capacity.
The programs are designed to fund programs for workers and to support employers with providing support to workers to job seek while in place with an employer while they recover, the connect 2 work program is short term work placement with a host employer where their pre-injury employer is unable to offer suitable work due to COVID-19 or they are looking for new employment.
