Any employer who is self insured or pays an annual Workers Compensation premium of $200,000 is required to appoint a Return To Work Coordinator.
They identify suitable duties, liaise with workers, insurers, and doctors to improve return to work outcomes, and must complete a one?day ACT WorkSafe course.
Alternatively, those with relevant ACT workers’ compensation and RTW experience can gain accreditation by submitting to ACT WorkSafe.”
