To support recovery, the National Return to Work Strategy 2020–2030 has been implemented by Safe Work Australia members. Embedding effective and practical RTW processes is critical within all-sized businesses.
The rational is to identify the challenges Australia faces across the various Workers Compensation Schemes and to implement a way to improve return to work outcomes for injured workers.
SafeWork Australia has advised that Collaboration is key to the success of this National Strategy.
The five action areas for the Strategy are:
1. Supporting workers
2. Building positive workplace culture and leadership
3. Supporting employers
4. Supporting stakeholders
5. Building & translating evidence
